How does the Car Consignment Process work?
After Kelly's Auto Trader has received the setup fee, you bring your car to Kelly's Auto Trader and he will take professional photos and give his signature inspection. From there, Kelly and his staff handle all of the work including listing the vehicle, dealing with potential buyers and the negotiation process.
Will anyone be contacting me about my vehicle?
No. Once you have filled out the necessary information with Kelly and his staff, you will be taken out of the buying and selling process. You won't have to deal with potential buyers and the negotiation.
How long will Kelly and his staff sell my car for?
The setup and consignment service is good for 90 days. If the car is not sold, you will have the choice to renew your consignment contract.
What documentation do I need to sell my car?
You will need to have the official title of the car and proper identification to appoint you as the legal owner.
Is my car protected while Kelly and his staff attempt to sell it?
Your car will be placed on our secure lot.
What steps are taken if my vehicle is not in perfect, selling condition?
After Kelly and his staff complete the 70 point signature inspection, you will be given an analysis of what steps, if any, are needed to recondition your car for a quick sale.
